    Description

Sometimes, the best medicine isn't a prescription—it’s a shared history.

One of our resident veterans, struggling with severe anxiety, had spent months refusing visits from staff, nurses, and even the chaplain. That changed the moment a fellow veteran volunteer walked into the room.

Through the unique power of veteran-to-veteran camaraderie, the ice finally broke. What started as a few questions turned into an hour of laughter and storytelling. There is a bond forged in service that simply cannot be duplicated.

Your presence can reach someone when no one else can. Join our volunteer team and make a difference for a hero today.
