    Description

The St. Leo Respite Program provides support and respite services to people living with dementia and their families. Participants engage in friendly conversation, play games, and enjoy activities in a safe and fun environment while their caregivers have respite. This program is supported by Volunteer Companions, who provide companionship, assist with facilitated activities, and help create a sense of belonging in a supportive, dementia-friendly environment. The program runs weekly on Thursdays, with a session from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and a second session from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Volunteers can sign up for one to two sessions per week. There is also a monthly Wednesday dinner.
