NorthStar Home Hospice is locally owned and operated. We care for our neighbors in Loveland and throughout Greater Cinicnnati.

We are seeking compassionate people to join our volunteer team to make friendly visits to patients living in their own homes or long-term care facilities in the Loveland area. No personal or medical care is involved, just your time, kindness, and presence.

Some of the ways YOU can make a difference...

• Providing companionship
• Reading aloud to the patient or listening to music together
• Looking at photos together and sharing memories (life review)
• Sitting with a patient so caregivers have free time (respite)
• Journaling or scrapbooking (helping the patient record their history)
• Watching movies or playing games
• Simply being present

Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team! We provide ongoing support, comprehensive orientation/training, and screenings at no cost to you. Once you complete your orientation and screenings, we will strive to assign you close to your home or work, and based on your schedule and availability.
