We believe that every parent’s voice has the power to shape better care—and we’re especially eager to hear from families whose perspectives have historically been underrepresented in healthcare.
The M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital is seeking parents and caregivers to join our Parents Advisory Council (PFAC). This volunteer group helps guide improvements in pediatric care by sharing lived experiences, offering feedback, and partnering with hospital leaders.
We are specifically looking for parents from Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Asian, and other communities of color, as well as those from immigrant, refugee, and multilingual backgrounds. Whether your experience with our hospital has been positive, challenging, or somewhere in between, your insights are essential to helping us grow.
The only requirement is to be a patient or a family member/caregiver of a pediatric patient receiving care at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. We'll train you on everything you need to know to be successful.
What is PFAC?
PFAC is a volunteer group of parents and caregivers who partner with hospital staff to improve patient- and family-centered care. Members share their lived experiences, offer feedback on hospital initiatives, and help shape policies, programs, and services that impact families like yours.
Commitment:
Interviews & Onboarding: October 2025
Start Date: November 2025
Why Join?
You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming group of parents and professionals who care deeply about improving care for all families. Your insights will directly influence hospital decisions and help create a more inclusive, compassionate environment.
