Description
Lyfe Journey Unfolding (LJU) is a Texas-based nonprofit empowering individuals experiencing homelessness through outreach, transitional housing initiatives, and wrap-around support services. We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit, organize, and support volunteers for our community programs and events.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, and schedule volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer roles for events and outreach activities
- Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers
- Track volunteer participation and hours
- Support volunteer communication and appreciation efforts
Qualifications:
- Passion for community service and social impact
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and people-focused
- Volunteer coordination or event experience a plus
