    Position Summary

    The Assistant Contract Director Intern participates in an advanced, hands-on learning experience focused on contract operations, compliance processes, and coordination within a structured program environment.

    This role provides exposure to contract lifecycle management, documentation practices, compliance considerations, and cross-functional coordination under supervision.

    Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.

    Learning Focus Areas

    Participants in this role will gain exposure to:

    • Contract documentation and lifecycle processes
    • Compliance and governance principles
    • Administrative coordination within contract workflows
    • Stakeholder communication and collaboration practices

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Assisting with contract documentation and organization
    • Supporting coordination of contract-related workflows
    • Participating in review of contract processes and metrics (for learning purposes)
    • Observing compliance and audit-related activities
    • Collaborating with team members on structured contract-related tasks
    • Communicating questions, observations, or feedback to program leadership

    All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

    Leadership Development Component

    This role includes exposure to leadership development by:

    • Supporting coordination of contract-related activities
    • Participating in a structured workflow organization
    • Observing decision-making processes related to contract operations

    This is a developmental experience and does not involve formal authority over business operations or personnel.

    Participation Expectations

    • Engage consistently in program activities and sessions
    • Maintain communication with program coordinators and leadership
    • Participate in a structured learning environment

    Education / Background

    Candidates may include:

    • Students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals
