Description
Wanted: Members for a Circle of Support
Reentering community after prison or treatment takes immense courage—but nobody should have to do it alone. We are looking for compassionate volunteers to form a Circle of Support around individuals in supportive housing.
- If you are a student: Gain invaluable, real-world experience in human services, advocacy, and criminal justice reform.
- If you are an empty nester: Share your life skills, mentorship, and heart with someone starting over.
Worried you don't have the right background?
You don't need a degree in counseling to make a difference. We set you up for success from day one:
- You Are Never Alone: You will be with a team of peers to share the journey. You are a Circle, not a solo volunteer.
- Full Training Provided: We provide comprehensive guidance on trauma-informed care, healthy boundaries, and recovery support before you begin.
- Clear Boundaries: Your role is to offer support and community connection—our professional staff handles all case management.
Time Commitment: Just 2–3 hours three times a month as part of a supportive team.
