Details
Description
Love local history, the paranormal, or all things strange & unusual? The Gaslamp Museum at the historic Davis-Horton House is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring our newest event, the Strange & Supernatural Soiree, to life!
Taking place on the Friday during Comic-Con week, and located just a couple of blocks away from the convention center, this event is expected to be the museum's most popular after-hours event of the year!
This 21+ after-hours event celebrates San Diego's dark and mysterious past with a plethora of macabre entertainment and Victorian-inspired activities. There will be costumed historical characters, tarot card readings, classic horror movies in the courtyard, a tea leaf reading workshop, crafts, and more. There will also be a bar, and guests will receive one free drink included with each event admission ticket.
We are accepting volunteer applicants for a variety of tasks and roles, so whether you enjoy working with guests, helping behind the scenes, or bringing history to life, we'd love to have you join our team!
