Make a Difference: Abolish the Death Penalty in Pennsylvania

Are you passionate about justice and ready to put your enthusiasm and creativity to work? The No Death Penalty PA Campaign is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us build a broad, diverse, and powerful coalition capable of abolishing capital punishment in the commonwealth. This is an exciting opportunity to impact statewide policy directly.

    Core Responsibilities

As a Coalition Builder, you will be the engine of our expansion, focusing on:

    • Strategic Research & Identification: Systematically identify and research prospective partner organizations across a spectrum of sectors, including faith, community, educational, business, and professional groups.
    • Recruitment & Persuasion: Develop and execute outreach strategies to personally recruit and engage key leaders and members of these groups, clearly articulating the campaign's goals and the value of their collaboration.
    • Relationship Management: Help onboard new partners and maintain strong working relationships to ensure their continued, active participation in our joint efforts.

What We're Seeking in a Volunteer

    • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: The ability to communicate persuasively, listen actively, and build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
    • Proactive & Enthusiastic: A self-starter with the energy and creativity to find new avenues for partnership.
    • Organizational Reliability: The ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet agreed-upon goals.

    Work Environment

    • We offer maximum flexibility to accommodate your schedule and location:
    • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Flexible Options: Volunteers may choose a 100% Remote or Hybrid work environment.
    • Local Option: Pennsylvania residents also have the option to work 100% In-Person if preferred.
