    Description

Bring a smile through a phone call

Community Healthcare of Texas is a non-profit hospice in the DFW area caring for patients and families through their entire end of life journey. It's our goal to ensure that no one is ever alone in their grief, and we need your to help to connect with families who have lost loved ones! If you have a heart for the grieving, you can help us support the families of our patients with a phone call.

Calls are made to families to check in to see how they are coping with their grief and remind them of the grief care services available to them.

You do not need experience, but an empathetic spirit and a good listening ear is a must. Our free training will help you know what to say and guide you through the conversation. Calls can be made from the comfort of your home, or from our home office in Fort Worth.

Bring comfort to those in need and join us as a volunteer today.

Call/text our Volunteer Coordinator, Cheri Spurrier, 682-540-2196 or email at cspurrier@chot.org or visit our website to fill out and inquiry at chot.org
