    About Us

    The Friendly Visitor Program is working to combat the loneliness and social isolation of our homebound seniors and disabled neighbors. With the efforts of our qualified and trained volunteers, we are going beyond the social interactions that occur with regular meals deliveries. We are supporting our senior neighbors to extend their independence and health as they age. These valuable connections provide our clients with much needed companionship.

    Requirements:

    • 18 years of age and older
    • Must have a Driver's License and reliable transportation.
    • Must be comfortable with the elderly and working inside their homes.
    • Bilingual is NOT required, but it is a plus!

    Responsibilities:

    • Hang out with our seniors for about an hour!
    • Assess and monitor the wellbeing of our clients through friendly visits/friendly check in phone calls.
    • Engage in a variety of activities such as reading books, watching movies, board/card games or just having conversation.
