Meal Delivery Volunteer – Make a Difference in Just 90 Minutes

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community without making a major time commitment?

Join Share My Meals as a Meal Delivery Volunteer for our Home Delivery program. In about 90 minutes, you can help deliver nutritious meals to 5–8 local homes in the Princeton area, while providing something just as important: a friendly face and a moment of connection.

Home Deliveries take place on weekday afternoons from 4-5:30pm.

What You'll Do

• Pick up prepared meals for delivery.
• Follow a designated route to deliver meals to 5–8 local homes.
• Provide a friendly check-in and a little connection along the way.
• Help ensure community members receive the meals and support they need.

Time Commitment

Each route takes approximately 90 minutes. Routes are a great option for individuals who want to volunteer regularly or simply have an occasional block of time to give.

NEED TO KNOW:

Volunteer Requirements:

• Access to a vehicle with coverage that meets either a combined single limit of $300,000 or Bodily Injury Liability coverage of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident and a valid driver’s license;
• Personal smartphone to download and use an app to track pickup and delivery information, along with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn and use new technology.
• Completion of Share My Meals’ onboarding and training, which includes:
  • Volunteer interest form
  • Virtual orientation
  • Virtual volunteer training
  • Optional, but recommended accompaniment on first shift with an experienced volunteer
