    Description

NAMI San Mateo County is looking for Volunteer Presenters: Ending the Silence!

NAMI San Mateo County is looking for young adult volunteer presenters for our Ending the Silence school presentations!

Ending the Silence (ETS) is a 1-hour presentation that goes into middle and high schools to break the stigma surrounding mental health, educate youth on mental health warning signs, and bring awareness to the resources available to them. We are seeking a young adult presenter who shares their personal experience with mental health struggles to inspire and educate youth.

We are looking for young adults that:

    • Are between 18-28 years old
    • Have lived experience with mental health struggles
    • Are available Monday - Friday anytime between 8 am - 3 pm
    • Have reliable transportation to schools in San Mateo County
    • Can participate in a 4-5 hour training
