Description
We are hosting a 5k Race in memory of our son who fought a long battle with mental illness and addiction. All proceeds will go to fight addiction through prevention, treatment, education and support. The event will be a 5k trail run and 1 mile walk at Bretton Woods Recreation Center in Darnestown, MD on October 11, 2026. We are looking for a medical volunteer to be available if anyone were to get hurt or need attention. We don't anticipate that happening, but we would like to be prepared. As a volunteer, you will receive a t-shirt and pizza after the race, but more importantly, you'll be helping a great cause.
