    Position Overview

    Celebrating One is seeking a creative, reliable, and self-motivated Social Media Volunteer to support our digital presence during a key spring campaign period. This short-term remote opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys graphic design, storytelling, and using social media for social impact.

    The volunteer will create and schedule engaging content that inspires, informs, and supports our fundraising and program initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design engaging social media graphics using Canva (access provided)
    • Create content for:
      • Inspirational and motivational posts
      • Fundraising event promotions
      • Important awareness dates
      • Program highlights and impact stories
    • Schedule posts using Buffer
    • Collaborate using Google Docs for content drafts and planning
    • Maintain a simple content calendar
    • Provide a brief weekly progress update via email or Google Doc
    • Work independently while meeting agreed-upon deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Experience creating graphics in Canva
    • Familiarity with Buffer or other social media scheduling tools
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Comfortable using Google Docs
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Passion for education equity and nonprofit work preferred
