    Description

    URGENT: Volunteer delivery drivers & kitchen help needed to distribute meals to seniors in our community. Delivery routes & kitchen shifts take just 2-3 hrs in the morning/afternoon. Lunches are distributed in Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, and San Leandro using contact-free delivery procedures. If you are available a few hours a day, week or month we want to hear from you.

    ABOUT US

    Ever wanted to work in a kitchen or learn more about Japanese food? Would you like to deliver nourishing lunches to people who can't shop or cook for themselves anymore? Maybe you are a sociable person who would enjoy visiting or calling a senior weekly.

    J-Sei is a longstanding nonprofit that offers many rewarding volunteer opportunities. You can be involved periodically or on a consistent ongoing basis. You can bring a smile to seniors by preparing hot lunches, delivering meals to seniors, providing weekly visits to at a senior's home or calling a senior. You will help an older adult stay healthier and happier! We also have office work related to mailings or data entry. Assistance with event planning is appreciated too.
