    Description

    Global Programs & Campus Outreach

Hands on Peru is looking for a Global Programs & Campus Outreach Intern to help us grow awareness of our international programs and connect more students with volunteer, internship, practicum, and global health opportunities in Peru.

This is a great opportunity for a student interested in global health, nonprofit work, international programs, communications, marketing, or community engagement who wants hands-on experience supporting an international nonprofit.

As a Global Programs & Campus Outreach Intern, you will:

    • Promote Hands on Peru opportunities on your university campus.
    • Connect with student organizations, faculty, advisors, career offices, and other campus groups.
    • Help identify new ways for Hands on Peru to engage with students and university programs.
    • Share approved recruitment materials, flyers, presentations, and outreach emails.
    • Participate in at least one campus outreach activity or event each month.
    • Help track outreach efforts, contacts, and student interest.
    • Participate in periodic meetings with the Hands on Peru Global Outreach Team.
    • Provide feedback on what students are looking for in international, volunteer, and global health experiences.

Through this internship, you will gain experience in nonprofit outreach, student recruitment, partnership development, international program promotion, and stakeholder engagement while working directly with a growing international nonprofit.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, comfortable reaching out to people, and excited about connecting students with meaningful international experiences.
