    Missoula/ Ronan/ Hamilton - Sports Competition Coordinator

    Position Title: Sports & Competition Coordinator (Volunteer Role)

    Are you passionate about sports & community engagement? Join Special Olympics Montana as a volunteer Sports & Competition Coordinator and help create meaninful experiences for athletes across the Five Valleys Area (Ravalli, Missoula, Lake, Sanders and Granite Counties)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support committees that organize local area competitions
    • Serve as the main liasion between Special Olympics Montana Sports Department and local volunteers
    • Ensure events are inclusive, well-organized and aligned with SOMT standards

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with a nonprofit or sports organization is a plus, but not required.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills are helpful
    • Work well in a team enviromnet

    Support & Training:

    • Comprehensive and ongoing training provided by Special Olympics Montana staff.
