Bring Food and Hope to the Community: Volunteer with the JFS Mobile Food Pantry
Details
Description
Help fight hunger where it happens by joining the Jewish Family Service (JFS) Mobile Food Pantry team! We’re currently seeking volunteers for Thursday and Friday shifts to bring healthy, culturally relevant food directly to neighbors facing food insecurity.
The JFS Mobile Food Pantry travels to Denver-area neighborhoods, housing complexes, and community centers to remove transportation barriers and ensure families have reliable access to fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples. Along the way, volunteers also help connect individuals to over 30 additional JFS programs and services that promote stability and self-sufficiency.
As a volunteer, you’ll:
- Help set up and distribute food at Mobile Pantry sites
- Track shopper information and maintain accurate counts
- Greet clients and ensure a welcoming, dignified experience
