    Position Summary:

    The Assistant Treasurer supports the Treasurer in managing the financial operations of the

    Friends of Wehr Nature Center, Inc. The Assistant Treasurer is a voting member of the Board and is

    responsible for supporting the Treasurer in managing the financial operations of the Friends of

    Wehr Nature Center, Inc.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

    Maintain accurate financial records.

    Serve as an authorized signer with online account access.

    Attend monthly Executive Board and Board of Directors meetings.

    Support audit preparation, budget cycles, and compliance needs.

    Collaborate with the Treasurer, Business Manager, and Organization Director.

    Attendance

    Attend all Board meetings and Executive Committee meetings.

    Qualifications:

    Experience with finance, accounting, or nonprofit operations helpful.

    QuickBooks experience preferred but not required (training provided).

    Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

    Commitment to the mission of FOW.
