    Description

Carter Burden Network promotes the well-being of older adults, 60 and older through a continuum of services, advocacy, arts and culture, health and wellness and volunteer programs, all oriented to individual, family and community needs. We are dedicated to supporting the efforts of older adults to live safely and with dignity.

Meals-On-Wheels deliver thousands of meals a year to our homebound older adults. The Carter Burden Luncheon Club & Older Adult Program is looking for eager and passionate volunteers to deliver nutritious meals to our Upper East Side homebound older adult clients. It's a great opportunity to foster connections and wellness checks with homebound older adults within walking distance of the Older Adult Center.

You are not only delivering a meal, but giving our homebound older adults something meaningful to look forward to. Volunteer hours on weekdays are from 10:00am to 12:30pm. All volunteers will be vetted and provided with a brief orientation prior to volunteering.
