What is Resource Development?

Resource Development is the strategic process of identifying, securing, and managing the resources needed to achieve the organization's mission. These resources typically include funding, in-kind donations, volunteers, partnerships, and other forms of support.

What does the Homes First Resource Development Committee Do?

Resource development committee members build and nurture relationships with funders, donors, volunteers, and community partners to secure the financial, human, and in-kind resources necessary to advance our mission.

By diversifying our funding streams, fostering community engagement, and ensuring responsible stewardship, we aim to sustain and expand our impact for the people we serve.

The committee works closely with the organization's leadership and development staff to implement effective fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including planning and executing events and stewarding our community partners, sponsors, and donors.
