Looking for Host Families for a 2nd Semester Student (Jan.-May) in JAX

Looking for volunteer host families to provide a welcoming home to an International high school student for 2nd semester of 2025/2026 school year. This means student will arrive end of Dec. 2025 and stay until end of school year, usually end of May or first part of June 2026. Student would attend Duval Charter at Baymeadows, San Jose Prep or San Jose Cecil. There could be a possibility of student attending St. Johns Classical Academy on Fleming Island as well.

Greenheart Exchange has students from all over the world so you can take your pick of what country you would love to learn more about. Families can be made up of all sorts of different people (people with young children or no children, empty nesters, single parents, retirees, etc.)

Students have their own health/accident insurance, and monthly spending money to cover sports fees, prom, clothing, etc.), You just need to provide a bed, three meals and local transportation. Most students will be in your local public school and busing will be provided. They have a desire to have an American high school experience and have a willingness to share their culture and learn about yours.

If you can't host for an entire school year then by all means consider being a Welcome Family. As a welcome family you will provide a home for 6-8 weeks while we look for another family. Most times once student is in school and meets friends we will find a family excited to be a host family!
