    Description

Sequoia TR is seeking volunteers to support our small group activities serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the Tacoma Pierce County community. We have ongoing activities and one time events. Our greatest need for volunteers is supporting 2-3 participants through our cooking class Thursday evenings 4:30-7pm at Hunt Middle School starting in January.

Additional opportunities to help include playing Bunco, helping with arts/ crafts, assisting with painting class (no experience needed), and dance (think exercise line dancing like electric slide).

Check out our website for more information and to fill out a volunteer application. All volunteers (and staff) must pass and complete a DSHS background check each year.
