SUMMARY
Save the Water™ is seeking a Webflow Developer to support the ongoing website modernization and smooth transition from WordPress to Webflow. This role is ideal for someone who can translate UX/UI designs into fully functional Webflow pages, maintain site performance, and collaborate closely with design, education, marketing, and development teams. The incumbent will manage Webflow builds, CMS structures, and ensure alignment with STW™’s design and accessibility standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain responsive, accessible Webflow pages based on finalized UX/UI designs, including CMS structures, collections, dynamic content, symbols, and interactions; ensure consistency across devices.
- Perform regular site updates, troubleshoot layout or UI issues, maintain design consistency with STW™’s design system, and support SEO and accessibility compliance.
- Collaborate with the Technology Director, UX/UI, Education, and Marketing teams to interpret Figma files, upload or update content, and support integrations (forms, CRM, analytics, automation tools).
- Integrate Webflow with GA4, GTM, and other analytics tools, embed external code snippets, and optimize site performance (image compression, layout shifts, load speed).
- Attend virtual meetings in the EST timezone (GMT -4:00), respond to communications within required timelines, and perform other duties as assigned to support STW™’s technology and digital strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience building sites in Webflow (portfolio or live links required).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, semantic HTML, and clean layout structure.
- Ability to translate static Figma designs into pixel-perfect Webflow builds.
- Experience with Webflow CMS, Symbols, Interactions, and custom code embedding.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and accessibility best practices (WCAG / Section 508).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience with Webflow hosting/DNS migration setups.
- Understanding of nonprofit website audiences and educational content structure.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (design, education, marketing).
- Familiarity with GA4, GTM, and analytics event tracking.
