Description
Advocacy Fellows in New York Congressional District 6 research global health issues in U.S. foreign aid, develop outreach skills to build support for Congressional action, and advocate with the office of Congresswoman Grace Meng, a member of the House subcommittee that funds U.S. foreign aid. Successful candidates bring a desire to impact public policy, basic research and writing skills, and detail-orientation. Initiative, curiosity and reliability are important.
Advocacy Fellows commit to work about 6-8 hours a week for a minimum of 12 months, with twice-a-week small-group coaching on zoom. All activities can be conducted remotely.
