Description
Become a Disaster Duty Officer with the American Red Cross and take an active role in helping communities during their most challenging times. This is a fully virtual role where you’ll coordinate response efforts, and ensure that resources and teams are deployed quickly and efficiently to those families in need.
This role is ideal for individuals who stay calm under pressure, are highly organized, and want to make a real, tangible difference in emergency situations. You serve on a flexible, on-call schedule, typically committing to a 6-hour shift to respond quickly when emergencies arise.
By volunteering as a Disaster Duty Officer, you’ll be a key part of a team that provides critical support and relief when it matters most!
