Talent Acquisition Partner, People Management Team
Details
Description
Who this is for
You believe how someone is met at the door shapes what they can do inside. You want to bring warmth and hospitality to volunteer recruiting for the people who’ll go on to care for other volunteers — the concierges, team people managers, and community-of-practice tenders.
What you’d actually do
Partner with the People Management team on their full volunteer recruiting flow — inbound applicants, outreach campaigns, screening, and warm handoffs into onboarding. You’re the person shaping how new practitioners of care first meet CrowdDoing.
• Design the front door. Shape how the People Management team’s roles are described in listings, outreach, and social so applicants can feel whether this is their ikigai before they apply.
• Screen with care. Meet inbound applicants in short, warm conversations to understand their care history and match them to the right micro-role — including “not right now” with grace.
• Run sourcing campaigns. Design outreach to coaching networks, community-organizing spaces, chaplaincy programs, and human-services alumni — the natural homes of care practitioners.
• Handoff warmly. Introduce every accepted applicant to their onboarding buddy and the Ikigai Concierge circle.
• Tune the funnel. Watch drop-off points and work with the HRBP and Process Improvement team to fix them.
Why this might be your ikigai
You’ll practice talent acquisition as hospitality — for a team whose whole job is hospitality. You’ll help build the front door to CrowdDoing’s care ecosystem and set the tone that every new practitioner encounters.
Signs this role might fit you
• You’ve done volume recruiting or talent acquisition before.
• You’re drawn to care-adjacent recruiting — coaches, therapists, community organizers.
• You can hold a warm “not right now” without making it feel like rejection.
• You believe recruiting is a form of care itself.
• You want to shape how a growing care team is met.
Signs this role probably isn’t for you
• You want to focus on senior placements (that’s Executive Recruiter).
• You need pipeline dashboards to feel effective.
• You’d rather not talk to every candidate.
Commitment
Six-month initial commitment. Rhythm co-designed with the People Management team.
What you’ll be part of
You’ll partner with the People Management team, its Executive Recruiter, its HRBP, and the other Talent Acquisition Partners.
