    Description

    Brighter Future Cares (BFC) is seeking motivated and purpose-driven individuals to join our Education Intern & Residency Program, a hands-on leadership and workforce development experience designed for young adults interested in education, nonprofit leadership, and community impact.

    This is not a traditional internship.

    Participants gain real responsibility, leadership experience, and the opportunity to grow into long-term roles within the organization.

    About the Program

    This 6-month internship and residency program provides:

    • Hands-on experience within active youth programs
    • Leadership development and mentorship
    • Exposure to education, program management, and nonprofit operations
    • Real-world experience in building and sustaining programs

    Participants are placed into roles aligned with their interests and strengths and contribute directly to programs serving youth and families.

    • Social Media & Design (Marketing & Branding)
    • Team Impact Coordinator (Youth Leadership Programs)

    What You’ll Do

    • Support program operations and events
    • Participate in training and weekly check-ins
    • Assist with communication, outreach, and coordination
    • Work alongside leadership and program teams
    • Contribute to real community impact initiatives

    Unique Opportunity

    This program introduces interns to how organizations grow and sustain their work.

    Participants will gain exposure to:

    • Partnership development
    • Community engagement
    • Program sustainability and funding

    Interns are supported with mentorship, tools, and guidance throughout the process.

    Compensation

    This is an unpaid internship focused on professional development and career growth.

    Participants who successfully complete the program may be considered for paid contractor opportunities within Brighter Future Cares.
