Friendly Visitor to Seniors- Fort Collins

Are you looking for a simple and flexible volunteer opportunity that allows you to make a difference in an older adult's life? Please consider signing up to be a friendly visitor for one of Volunteers of America's senior living communities. We are looking for a kind and reliable person to visit residents once to twice a week to provide much needed companionship. One particular resident is not only looking for companionship, but also routine dog walking for their pet. Outside of dog walking, visits may consist of playing games, reading books, or just having a nice conversation with a lonely older adult. This opportunity is based on your schedule with flexibility if you are a frequent traveler or need occasional breaks from volunteering.
