Description
Adoration Hospice- BALTIMORE is seeking compassionate, reliable volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to our patients throughout Baltimore City and the surrounding areas. If you have a warm heart and a desire to bring comfort to someone in their final season of life, we would love to welcome you.
What You’ll Do:
- Offer companionship through conversation, reading, sharing stories, or simply sitting bedside
- Provide emotional comfort and a calming presence to patients
- Support caregivers by giving them a moment to rest
- Engage in meaningful human connection that truly makes a difference
You Are a Good Fit If:
- You are empathetic, patient, and grounded
- You enjoy spending time with older adults
- You can commit to at least 2–4 hours a month
- You’re dependable and understand the importance of showing up fully
Training & Support:
All volunteers receive full hospice training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling. No medical tasks or hands-on care required.
