    About Nutrition Clarity Foundation

    Nutrition Clarity Foundation is a community-based nonprofit providing free nutrition literacy resources and community education. We help individuals and families better understand food labels, ingredients, and everyday grocery decisions in clear, accessible ways.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Volunteer Program & Events Coordinator to help organize and support our community education activities.

    This role focuses on coordinating volunteers, organizing event logistics, and helping ensure community events run smoothly.

    It is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, planning, and supporting community initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate volunteers for community events and workshops
    • Help manage event schedules and confirmations
    • Support event preparation (materials, setup checklists, communications)
    • Assist with organizing volunteer outreach and participation
    • Help maintain simple systems for tracking events and volunteers

    Qualifications – Must Have

    • Strong organizational skills
    • Reliable communication
    • Ability to manage details and scheduling
    • Comfortable coordinating volunteers and logistics

    Preferred

    • Experience with event planning, nonprofit programs, or volunteer coordination
    • Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Slack, or scheduling tools
