    Donor Relations Coordinator

    Random Acts is a non-profit that inspires acts of kindness around the world. We provide a vast network of caring people with the encouragement and support they need to change lives for the better.

    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Donor Relations Coordinator.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Donor Relations Coordinator works closely with the Fundraising Manager, Strategic Director, and Fundraising Team to ensure that donors are properly acknowledged and thanked for their generosity. This individual will document and provide reporting on donor interactions, and engage with donors through various programs. This position will require effective written communication skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for tracking funds raised by individual donors, and ensuring appropriate recognition is given via email, written correspondence, and other modes of communication.
    • Support development and maintenance of Recurring and Lapsed Donor programs.
    • Ensures that memorial and tribute gifts are acknowledged appropriately.
    • Work with a Fundraising Data Analyst to prepare, edit, and send donor communication.
    • Assist the Database Administrator with record research and maintenance in the Little Green Light database as needed.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Must have strong communication and strong organization skills.
    • High attention to detail and good follow-through.
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Comfortable utilizing English grammar, spelling, and punctuation for email, thank you notes, and other communication.
    • Strategic thinker, ability to solve problems efficiently.
    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fluid and rapidly changing environment.
    • Must be comfortable learning information/data systems.
    • Possess the ability to work independently, take initiative, not requiring significant direction.
    • Capacity to work collaboratively in teams in a remote setting.
    • Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, GSuite Applications.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Experience with CRMs is considered a plus.

    This role requires remote working. Applicants must have regular and reliable access to the internet, as well as the motivation to dedicate their time to the organization.
