    Description

Love creating, crafting, and sharing your creativity with others? Use your passion for the arts to help end Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for dedicated artists, makers, and craft enthusiasts to serve as Volunteer Leaders for Do What You Love to End ALZ™, our signature fundraising campaign that empowers people to turn what they love into meaningful action.

As an Arts & Crafts Volunteer Leader, you’ll inspire your creative community to host craft fairs, workshops, maker events, and fundraising activities while supporting critical research and care for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Whether you’re a painter, quilter, scrapbooker, knitter, woodworker, jewelry maker, or simply love creating with your hands, this is your chance to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact.

    Your Role Will Include:

    • Recruiting artists, makers, and craft groups to start fundraisers
    • Coaching participants on how to plan, promote, and fundraise through creative events and projects
    • Hosting crafting sessions, workshops, or meetups to engage new supporters
    • Connecting with local art studios, craft stores, galleries, and creative businesses for partnerships
    • Representing the Alzheimer’s Association at community events
    • Sending follow-ups, writing thank-you notes, and celebrating fundraising milestones
    • Representing the Alzheimer’s Association mission with creativity, passion, and purpose

We’ll provide all the training and tools you need. You bring your creativity and your desire to make a difference.

    Let’s create a world without Alzheimer’s.
