Stage Set Painter

Set painters help the paint master apply color to various parts of the set and paint the stage floor as well. Depending on the design, they may get trained on more detailed painting tasks.

Painting happens in the paint booth at the Lucie Stern Theatre, and on the stage itself. The bulk of the painting works happens on the week leading up to the load-in of the show into the theater. The dates listed reflect that. The time frames are indicative. The work will not require work every day on the dates shown, but the calendar reflects the likely time periods when volunteers will be needed. It may be possible to accommodate volunteers that have different availability than what's shown (for example evenings.)
