    Description

Belong! is seeking mentors who can develop relationships with students, build confidence in their academic skills and perseverance and work on the child’s socio-emotional development. A typical session includes homework help, reading, social skills support, and time spent getting to know each other through games and conversation.

Students are in grades K-6 and nearly all are English language learners. Most greatly benefit from our individualized attention.

    Time Commitment:

One weekday afternoon (Tues or Thurs): 3:30 – 5:00 pm (includes time for mentors to get set up).

Volunteers must commit to working the entire school year (September - May).
