Description
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging original content (graphics, short videos, photo carousels, reels, stories) that highlights our prison sports outreaches, kids camps, inmate testimonies, and family restoration stories.
- Schedule and post regular content across platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, and possibly TikTok or YouTube Shorts).
- Help grow our audience by using relevant hashtags, trending formats, and calls-to-action (e.g., “Volunteer with us,” “Donate to send a child to camp,” “Pray for this outreach”).
- Repurpose existing photos, videos, and stories from our events into polished social media posts.
- Monitor comments and messages to engage with followers, answer basic questions, and direct people to volunteer or donation opportunities.
- Track basic analytics (likes, reach, engagement) and suggest ideas to improve performance.
- Collaborate with the team to align content with upcoming events and ministry goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong alignment with our Christian faith and passion for prison ministry / family restoration.
- Experience or strong interest in social media content creation (Canva, CapCut, Instagram Reels, etc.).
- Creative eye for visual storytelling, ability to turn powerful real-life moments into compelling posts.
- Good written communication skills with a warm, hopeful, and authentic voice.
- Self-motivated and reliable, able to work independently while staying connected with the team.
- Respect for privacy, sensitivity, and security guidelines (especially when handling photos or stories involving inmates and children).
- Bonus: Experience with video editing, photography, or graphic design.
