    Description

    The Kitchen Aide assists in the preparation of meals in a fast-paced environment and in the cleanliness of the equipment and work area. Duties include washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting foodstuffs under the Kitchen Area Supervisor; preparing and packaging cold and hot packs for delivery; assembling frozen meal packages; and adhering to health and safety/FDA guidelines. Volunteers should have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist; the ability to stand prolonged periods of time; and the ability to lift ten pounds or more.

    Shifts are usually 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Volunteers are needed Mondays - Fridays.
