Are you 65+—or do you know someone who is—looking for meaningful connection this summer? DOROT’s Summer Intergenerational Workshops bring together older adults and teens in welcoming, small‑group programs designed to build community, share stories, and learn from one another through creative activities and guided discussions.
Interested? Register today to join weekly workshops meeting 1–2 hours over 3–4 weeks. Programs take place at DOROT on the Upper West Side and include art‑making, games, storytelling, music, current events, and more.
Upcoming Summer Workshops include:
- Nosh and Kibitz | Mondays, June 22–July 13, 1:00–2:30 PM
- Teens and older adults connect over games, light refreshments, and shared stories.
- Jewish Perspectives | Tuesdays, June 23–July 14, 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
- Intergenerational conversations exploring ethics, values, and current events through a Jewish lens.
- Arts & Crafts | Tuesdays, June 23–July 14, 1:00–2:30 PM
- A creative space to make, share, and learn together—no experience required.
