Position Summary
TPCA seeks a Website Designer to enhance and maintain our digital presence. This remote-friendly role ensures our website stays clear, accessible, and current—supporting our mission through thoughtful design and timely updates. You’ll work closely with the Communications team to publish content, improve layout and user experience, and resolve technical issues, all through a trauma-informed, dignity-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep website content up to date, including events, programs, and volunteer opportunities
- Collaborate with TPCA staff to post new materials and announcements
- Ensure accessibility across devices and for users with varying needs
- Maintain visual consistency and clarity throughout the site
- Troubleshoot formatting issues and broken links
- Suggest improvements to layout, navigation, and user experience
- Support integration of multimedia (images, PDFs, videos) when needed
- Coordinate with the Events Planner and Communications team for timely updates
Qualifications & Skills
- Strives for excellence in all duties
- Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar)
- Proficiency in Tableau required (possible knowledge in other platforms)
- Understanding of accessibility principles and inclusive design
- Strong attention to detail, spelling and grammar as well as visual organization
- Reliable and responsive communicator
- Passion for TPCA’s mission and community engagement
