    Assisting Therapeutic Riding Classes/Barn Care/Horse Care

    Do you like working outdoors with horses and the special needs community? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

    Freedom Ride offers therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with special needs. Volunteers are needed 7 days a week to help with barn cleaning, horse care & assistance with classes. To apply as a volunteer please visit our website www.freedomride.com, complete the volunteer application form & submit to Freedom Ride. After a volunteer application has been received & reviewed, the applicant will be invited to attend a New Volunteer Orientation which takes approximately one hour. The volunteer role will be explained in more detail during the orientation.

    This volunteer position is very physical! All volunteer work is done outdoors. Minimum age 16.

    Unfortunately we cannot accept court ordered community service.

    Freedom Ride requires at least one non-family member reference.

    2 shifts available every day:

    • 07:30 to 11:30 EST
    • 13:00 to 17:00 EST
