    Description

    Lab Technician / Phlebotomist Volunteer

    The Lake Area Free Clinic is a volunteer-driven non-profit in Oconomowoc, WI that provides free health care to the uninsured of Waukesha county. We are looking for motivated laboratory volunteers to help make an impact in the community.

    Duties: Collecting specimens, using proper techniques, as ordered by providers, to aid in the patient diagnosis and treatment.

    Qualifications: Must have phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification recommended.

    Commitment: One to two shifts per month. Shifts are typically 4 hours in duration. Shifts are during the day and evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
