Description
As the organization continues to resize due to funding cuts, the Refugee and Immigrant Community Services (RICS) department has two donation rooms at the Broadway Office-4822 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL 60640 that need to be merged into one. This week, RICS staff have been giving away food and clothes to participants, and this will go on until this Friday 08/28/2026. This giveaway is meant to reduce waste and also create space. Your help to reset, re-organize and sort these items will be highly appreciated. Like mentioned in the title of this posting, this is planned for Thursday 09/03/2026 from 10 to 12:30 or so depending on how much work is there to do and how many volunteers we get to help.
