Description: ikigai Sanctuary Corp (The California nonprofit/501c3) operates the following:

1. ikigai Animal Sanctuary (the property)
2. ikigai Intentional Community
3. Camp ikigai Animal Sanctuary (hospitality, tiny cabins, campground, and retreats unit) 1

As a nonprofit, we were gifted the use of Intuit Quickbooks Online. We are seeking a CPA and Bookkeeper to assist us in setting up the software correctly. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will directly impact our mission to provide a safe haven for animals and promote community well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure QuickBooks Online for our organization.
• Record financial transactions, including donations, expenses, and grants.
• Reconcile accounts and generate financial reports.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Background: Experience in nonprofit accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
• Skills: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and basic accounting principles.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, and have a valid driver’s license.
• Orientation: Training will be provided.
