UnPaid Volunteer Role: Nonprofit In Need of Website Developer with Website Rebrand & Update

About Us:

She Is Kingdom, She Is M.I.S.S. is a faith-based philanthropic organization dedicated to developing youth girls of color into philanthropic leaders through volunteerism, community service, intentional giving, and leadership opportunities. We are currently undergoing a rebrand to reflect our renewed mission, programs, and impact initiatives.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative volunteer or intern to lead the redesign and update of our website. This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape the digital presence of a growing organization and make a tangible impact on how we engage members, partners, and the community.

Responsibilities:

• Redesign and restructure the entire website to align with the organization’s new branding and visual identity.
• Update site content, including new programs, images, and messaging.
• Revise and maintain the contact directory and other organizational resources.
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and reflects the organization’s mission and values.

Experience & Skills You Will Gain:

• Hands-on experience in website design, user experience (UX), and content management.
• Opportunity to shape the online presence of a nonprofit organization and see your work publicly impact our audience.
• Collaboration with organizational leadership on branding, messaging, and digital communications.
• Experience in nonprofit digital marketing and program storytelling.
• Portfolio-building opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in web design, communications, or nonprofit management.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with the website platform WordPress and basic graphic design tools.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Passion for youth development, philanthropy, and empowering girls of color.

Time Commitment:

Flexible hours with the goal of completing the full website redesign by mid-March or sooner
