Volunteers must complete LVSC's Tutor Training Workshop: 1) complete 13 online training modules, and 2) attend four 1.5 hour training sessions.
Description
Teach ESL to an Adult in Your Community
Can you read, write and speak English? Do you like meeting people from different cultures? You can be an ESL Tutor. It’s easy!
- Attend an information session - on Zoom*.
- Attend our 4-week training workshop - no experience required.
- Meet with your student weekly: remotely, in-person, or both.
- Teach your student everyday English skills.
You don’t have to be a teacher to become a tutor. No teaching experience required - training is provided.
