    Description

    Works with: The Corporate Giving Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, identifying sponsorship opportunities, securing in-kind and financial donations, and supporting fundraising initiatives that advance APPR's mission.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Research and identify prospective corporate donors, sponsors, and community partners.
    • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential corporate supporters.
    • Collaborate with APPR leadership to develop sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities.
    • Coordinate outreach efforts, including emails, phone calls, meetings, and presentations to corporate prospects.
    • Assist with securing event sponsorships and in-kind donations for fundraising events and programs.
    • Track corporate donations, sponsorship commitments, and partnership activities.
    • Prepare donor acknowledgments and stewardship communications for corporate supporters.
    • Work with the Marketing Team to recognize sponsors through social media, newsletters, and other communications.
    • Maintain accurate records of corporate giving activities and donor information.

    CONTACTS WITH OTHERS: Works cross-functionally with all APPR teams, including Marketing, Events, Foster, Adoption, and Volunteer Teams, to identify partnership opportunities and support organizational fundraising goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to work virtually (phone, email, and video conferencing) on a regular basis.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional-level correspondence at all times.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    • Must be self-motivated, organized, and consistent with follow-through.
    • Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, marketing, or nonprofit development preferred.
    • Must have a HS diploma or higher degree of education.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred.
    • Must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or business(es) related to animal welfare.

    Time Commitment: 5 hours per week
