    Completely flexible — this can be a once‑a‑year activity or a weekly role. When a donation event is scheduled, we’ll send an email and/or text message to the volunteer group with the date and time. You simply join when you’re available.

    Description

    This is a flexible, low‑commitment volunteer opportunity perfect for anyone who wants to help out occasionally or on a more regular basis. Volunteers assist with sorting, moving, and organizing donated food and supplies during key times of the year.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Help unload and haul donations during large deliveries (such as Home Depot donations or Thanksgiving collections).
    • Sort items as needed, including checking expiration dates and organizing supplies.
    • Assist with stocking and maintaining storage areas, depending on your interest and availability.
      • Our storage units are located in Cocoa and Melbourne.
