    Description

    Event set-up/take-down Support Volunteer

Looking for a short-term volunteer experience that will make a big impact? Help with the PPNCS Twin Cities Pride Booth Set-up or take down!

Each year, Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS) talks with around 6,000 people at the annual Twin Cities Pride Festival - one of our biggest engagement events of the year. In order to engage with community members at the Festival, we first need to set-up our booth area and then take it down at the end of the event. We are looking for volunteer support to help with the physical labor of bringing the table, tent, and other supplies from cars into the PPNCS booth area in Loring Park, (we do have wagons for transport,) and setting up the tent & tables. We are also looking for volunteer support to take down the tent & tables at the end of the event and bring all of the supplies to the cars parked outside of the Festival area. Shifts include:

    • Set-up: Thursday June 25th, 10am to 12pm
    • Take-down: Monday, June 29th, 9am to 11am
