Hair Stylist for Hospice (Volunteer)

Are you a licensed stylist with a few extra hours in your week? We need you!

A couple times a month, we receive requests from our patients for hair cuts. It would be wonderful to have a few talented stylists for us to call!

We take care of people who are at the end of their lives. They aren't able to make it to the salon. Often they're in wheelchairs. Sometimes, they are bed bound. When needed, you would visit patients in their homes or elder-care facilities in the DFW metroplex. We have patients all over the metroplex but the most common locations are Flower Mound, Lewisville, Plano, and Denton. You tell us how far you're willing to drive and we'll keep it within that range.

Although this would be a "when needed" role, we still ask that you attend our training program. Training is provided in a group setting on a Saturday OR on a one-on-one basis in our Flower Mound office for a few hours during a weekday. We'll work around your schedule - please contact us for details.
